Let's take a look at what's been happening on Stan this past week.

Television:

The Stan Original series Wolf Like Me, shot in Sydney and produced by the people behind "Big Little Lies", is getting some international attention and for good reasons, with an interesting cast and an interesting premise. You can stream the entire first season right now on Stan.

Also new to Stan are the comedy series That Damn Michael Che, and the Italian series Inspector Ricciardi.

Season 2 of Project Blue Book has also been added this week.

Movies, Documentaries:

Some interesting movies to watch this week, and I'm gonna do it in sort of reverse chronological order, starting with the more recent Horrible Bosses. A great ensemble cast with a fabulous performance by Jennifer Aniston.

The next lot is a little bit older. Many may remember Along Came a Spider as a sort of standalone thriller, but it was actually part of a two-movie series (the first one being "Kiss the Girls", also starring Morgan Freeman). And in actual fact, it's one of three movies featuring the character Alex Cross. It's a decent film based on the novel by James Patterson.

With the new "Scream" ("Scream 5", really) doing the rounds in the theatres, it might be a good time to go back and watch Scream 4, especially because I didn't even know there was a Scream 4.

What if you could get away with murder after you've already been falsely convicted of the same crime, when your supposed victim set you up and is actually still alive? That's the premise of Double Jeopardy, one that is sure to catch your attention, but I'm assured by legal scholars that this scenario is not very plausible, mainly because the first fake murder and the second murder would actually be two different crimes requiring two different trials (so no double jeopardy). Yes, I've actually done research on this in the past.

And the final lot is yet a bit older, but rightful classics (well two is, the third may only be a classic in my eyes). Unforgiven swept the Oscars in 1993, and for good reason, while The Fugitive had us all look for a one-armed man, when we were not busy looking for Dr. Richard Kimble in every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse. And Tango & Cash is what '80s action is all about, and I've always been surprised that a sequel wasn't made for it.

Kids:

And finally for the kids, but I reckon adults will get a lot out of it too from The Iron Giant.
