HBO Now is no longer exclusively available on Apple's range of devices, as HBO has just released an Android version of their app. The premium television network has also inked a deal with Amazon that brings their fledgling streaming platform to Amazon's range of devices.

Android users can already download and install the HBO Now app from the Google Play store, while those that own Amazon Fire tablets can also download the app from the Amazon Appstore. HBO has also announced that the HBO Now will be coming to the Fire TV and Fire TV Stick devices later this year.

Those that use Google's Chromecast will also get access to HBO Now, again at a later unspecified time this year.

Amazon was delighted in partnering with HBO again (Amazon's own streaming service, Amazon Prime Instant Video, has an exclusive deal with HBO to provide some HBO content to subscribers) to bring HBO's streaming platform to Amazon's customers.

“If there’s one thing Fire TV and Fire tablet customers are telling us, it’s that they love to watch their favorite movies and TV shows. This is why the team is doubling down on adding great new movies and TV shows for Fire TV and Fire tablet customers—in less than five months we’ve added over 700 new channels, apps, and games to Amazon Fire TV, and over 300,000 apps are now available on Fire tablets,” said Steve Rabuchin, Vice President, Amazon Appstore. “HBO has produced some of the most groundbreaking and award-winning TV shows and movies, and we are excited to introduce HBO Now on Fire tablets and soon on Fire TV.”

Users can subscribe to HBO Now for USD $14.99 per month, and gain instant access to the entire HBO library, including the latest episodes of hit shows such as Game of Thrones.
