We've just added a new guide to our guides section. Our new Chromecast: Getting Started Guide is a simple introduction into how to set up and use your Chromecast device, here in Australia.
The guide goes over how to connect your Chromecast to your TV, how to set it up on your home Wi-Fi network, and some simple usage instructions on the Google Cast enabled apps, like YouTube and the Chrome browser.
The guide currently does not cover instructions on using Netflix on the device, which is a bit difficult here in Australia due to the device's hard-wired DNS settings (which prevents geo-unblockers from working). There is a workaround involving DD-WRT routers, and once we have tested and confirmed the method, we'll updated the guide with detailed instructions.
