True story of heroism, funny ghosts, documenting a historic win, and a sci-fi thriller. These are just some of the highlights this week. Read on to find out more.
If you're looking for a story of true heroism in the face of true evil, then the Brazillian mini-series Passport to Freedom (also known as "The Angel of Hamburg", the name given to the heroine in question, might be worth a look.
Another new series worth a look is the comedic crime series Panhandle - the first two episode available to stream right now, with new episodes to follow weekly.
Season 1 of We Hunt Together is also available, along with new seasons for the very real and funny Ramy and the very surreal and funny Ghosts (both season 3).
A couple of interesting, if not slightly older movies to pique your interest. Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon star in the historical sports drama Invictus. Matt Damon again stars in the Neill Blomkamp ("District 9", "Chappie") sci-fi film Elysium - a movie with an interesting premise, but one that's flawed - so that even outs to be a "good, but not great" movie.
There's also a bunch of made-for-TV Christmas movies, which if those were your thing, you should definitely check all of them out.
For sports fan, Brazil 2002: The Real Story is an interesting watch ahead of the (weirdly timed) World Cup later this year.
