An Australian event series, new seasons of some great shows, and a collection of very fine movies. These are just some of the highlights this week. Read on to find out more.
The Stan original mini-series Bali 2002 takes a look at a particular tragic event in recent Australian history - there has been some critical discussions regarding the appropriateness of the series, but I'll leave that to you to decide.
There is also the mid-season return of The Circus, the first once since the Mar-a-Lago Raid.
There are also new season returns for RuPaul's Drag Race UK (season 4), Home Economics (season 3), and New Amsterdam (season 5).
Some great movies to watch this week, and one great documentary.
The comedy smash-hit Crazy Rich Asians is available to stream on Stan, and it really was the start of the Asians in US cinema renaissance we're now experiencing (after a long and unwarranted absence). Also coming out in the same stellar year of releases was A Star Is Born.
Cult favourite Bad Santa is also now on Stan.
And finally, the story behind "The Rumble in the Jungle", the boxing match between George Foreman vs. Muhammad Ali, and is told in the excellent documentary When We Were Kings/
