Welcome again to our weekly feature where we look at the most popular streaming movies and TV shows in Australia based on data collected by streaming search engine JustWatch. Data includes subscription streaming as well as transactional streaming titles. Click here to read last week's roundup.

Movies:

Oscar contender Nightmare Alley has just arrived on Disney+, and it shot straight to the top of the most-streamed movie chart.

Ryan Reynold's Netflix original film The Adam Project was second on the chart, while "Sing 2" enters at third following its release on premium VOD platforms.

Pixar's critically acclaimed Turning Red also arrives on Disney+, and was 6th.

"Venom: Let There Be Carnage", "West Side Story", "House of Gucci", and "King Richard" all left the top 10.

Television:

The third season of "My Brilliant Friend" (Foxtel Now) hasn't yet arrived on Australian shores, but it will soon and people are binge-streaming the previous two seasons of the Italian coming-of-age drama it seems - it was third on the TV streaming chart.

Sports drama "Winning Time" arrived on Binge and it came 8th.

Finally, if you watch just one drama on famous American fraudsters, then The Dropout might be a good pick. You can never be too sure if the dramatisation is true to facts, as a lot of guessing and conjecture are always involved in this kind of unauthorised biography, but this one does seem to humanise its target, Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, without excusing any of her actions.

Leaving the top 10 to make room was "Severance", "Reacher", and "Better Things".
