Hope you've all had a great Christmas, if you celebrate it, or just a nice little break, if you did actually get a break. Here's what's been happening on Stan for the past week.
The second season of the acclaimed Australia dramedy Bump is here, and critics are already raving about it, so make sure you check out the show to see what the fuss is all about. There is also a new season, season 4, of Claws.
A couple of Christmas Specials for Call the Midwife and The Vicar of Dibley are also here
Not very Christmasy movies, but somehow strangely appropriate for the "perineum" between Christmas and New Year's. Christopher Nolan's Inception is always a great mindfrack for this time of the year (when you're in between periods of drunkness and/or food-induced coma), but for something lighter, try Austin Powers in Goldmember and Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery.
For the kids, another classic is on the cards after "The Wizard of Oz" a couple of weeks ago. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is not quite up there at the same level of "The Wizard of Oz", but it's a personal favourite of mine, even if it hasn't aged all that well and isn't really true to the source material.
