A new true-crime drama series, a classic action movie and a harrowing documentary. That's just some of the new stuff on Stan this past week, read on to find out more.
Some true stories are stranger than fiction, and a quick Wikipedia search for the events portrayed in the excellent Landscapers shows just how strange the whole thing is. "Landscapers" stars British acting heavyweights Olivia Colman and David Thewlis as the notorious couple in question.
There are also new seasons of Brassic (season 2), and the Polish drama series The Defence (season 2).
Zack Snyder's first mega hit 300 ("Dawn of the Dead", his first "big" hit) showed his directorial talents and you can watch it now on Stan, along with the much less worthy sequel.
2008's The Wackness has an interesting premise and is worth a watch as well.
For those that still have doubts about R. Kelly, the documentary series Surviving R. Kelly should cast all those doubts aside.
