October has passed, November is now here, and this means we're getting much closer to Christmas. Despite being nearly two months away, it has been deemed earlier enough for decorations to go up in supermarkets and shopping centers, and Stan is also getting into the spirit of things with a few Yuletide additions. We're only a couple of days (one, if you don't take time zones into consideration) from the all important midterm elections in the U.S. If you know exactly why they're important, or if you don't know and you're interested in finding out, watching Our Cartoon President - Election Special 2018 is probably not the best way to inform yourself. But it may be the funnest way.
A.P. Bio is the latest comedy series from NBC. Unlike many of the shows that end on streaming services like Stan, this one hasn't actually been cancelled yet, which is a big plus.
There are quite a lot of great documentaries and movies that have been added in the last week. These include a cute animal overload in the form of Orangutan Jungle School
November means Movember, and Australian documentary series Man Up attempts to take a deeper look the issues surrounding masculinity and depression. Worth a look.
Onto the movies, there are some real highlights including New Zeland's Boy and the solid crime action drama Den of Thieves.
Stan is getting into Christmas mode with the addition of the very funny National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - but please, skip the lame sequel (also new for the week)! The obligatory Christmas viewing that is Love Actually has been added to Stan's library just in time.
And World Movie fans should check out Turkey's Winter Sleep and the Italian/Belgium co-production, Marina.
