Another week has passed, and so it's time again to take a look at what's been happening on streaming platform Stan.
For TV series, the reality series 60 Days In has an extremely interesting premise - seven innocent volunteers are sent to county jail to experience life there, and nobody, not other inmates, not even the prison guards, know the real deal.
There are also season finales for Our Cartoon President and Preacher.
There are quite a few highly recommended movies and documentaries that have just arrived on Stan. For those looking for new flicks, the dramatization of the Deepwater Horizon disaster is expertly portrayed in Peter Berg's Deepwater Horizon - the film's been on Stan before, but it's back again. Byran Cranston is excellent (as usual) in The Infiltrator, also based on a true story, this crime drama is also well recommended.
From a couple of years ago but still well worth a watch if you haven't, check out Michael Fassbender and Carey Mulligan's Shame (I stand by my earlier opinion that Carey Mulligan is very much underrated), and our very own Nicole Kidman's The Railway Man.
Classic fun can be had via Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2, while music lovers are well served by 24 Hour Party People and the documentary The Swell Season (a companion piece to the film 'Once', documentary the life and love of that movie's co-stars, who became a real couple during the filming, and subsequently went on a world tour together).
