Gather round, streaming enthusiasts, and behold a new month of fresh content from Hulu. True to form, the streaming content provider offers up a tasty mix of series premieres and movie classics and everything in between. Let’s take a look at what’s in store this February.

The 24 series franchise made wildly popular with Kiefer Sutherland at the helm returns but without its major star. In this reboot, Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton) gives us our new hero, Eric Carter. But the premise is very similar to the Jack Bauer original. Carter returns from combat a military hero but a whole lot of trouble follows him home. If it’s not enough for our hero to just try and stay alive, he is also tasked with saving the United States from looming terror attacks. The cast also includes TV veteran, Jimmy Smits (Dexter) and Australian actress, Miranda Otto (Homeland). The season premiere streams from February 6.

Other series premieres include The Mindy Project: Season 5B, the very first season of new drama Taken (based on the Taken trilogy starring Liam Neeson) and When We Rise, a TV mini-series starring Guy Pearce (Jack Irish), Mary Louise Parker (Weeds) and Rachel Griffiths (Brothers and Sisters).

Still on TV series, the complete third season of Murder in the First arrives to Hulu on Feb 4. Starring Taye Diggs (Private Practice) as homicide detective, Terry English, and Kathleen Robertson (The Fixer) as his partner, Hildy Mulligan, the series distinguishes itself from the usual police procedurals by following one single case across an entire season as opposed to a different crime each episode. From the actual crime all the way through to the trial, viewers follow the case each step of the way. The series was co-created by Steven Bochco, an acclaimed TV writer responsible for creating some of the very best crime/law dramas of all time including Hill Street Blues, L.A. Law and NYPD Blue.

There are a whole host of movies on offer and surely something to suit every taste. Director Ridley Scott’s war drama Black Hawk Down tells the story of The Battle of Mogadishu, a real life battle fought between elite U.S. soldiers and Somali militiamen. The film stars Josh Hartnett (Penny Dreadful) and Ewan McGregor (Trainspotting). For something a little lighter, check out Shakespeare in Love. It won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1999 as well as snagging its two female stars, Gwyneth Paltrow and Judi Dench, a gold statue for their efforts. Also starring the brilliant Australian actor, Geoffrey Rush (Shine).

Of course, some titles are on their way out at the end of the month. Fans of Quentin Tarantino can still enjoy not one but two of his masterpieces until Feb 28. Reservoir Dogs, starring Harvey Keitel (The Grand Budapest Hotel) and Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire), is the story of a group of criminals who begin to turn upon one another after a simple jewellery heist goes horribly wrong. If you’ve never seen the story of Mr White, Mr Pink and friends, then now is the time. And once you’ve caught that one, it must be time for Pulp Fiction, the film that made Tarantino a bonafide superstar director and which was responsible for John Travolta’s epic career comeback. It’s worth watching just to see Travolta dancing with Uma Thurman (Kill Bill) and to watch Samuel L. Jackson (Django Unchained) being…..well, just supremely cool. Hurry before they disappear!
