Christmas is just around the corner, and there are several holiday themed movies available for instant and unlimited streaming on Stan for the week 8 to 14 December.
In anticipation of the Australian premier of the new Snoopy movie, two classic Charlie Brown Christmas movies have been added to the Stan library, Charlie Brown's Christmas Tales and its well received sequel I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown.
From one well received sequel to another well received sequel, which them spawned its own much less well received sequel, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation was followed (14 years later) by National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 2: Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure. One is definitely worth a watch this Christmas, the other, well, the less said the better I think!
Not forgetting the original meaning of Christmas, A.D. The Bible Continues is the sequel to the hugely popular 'The Bible', and tells the continuing events following the Crucifixion of Christ.
Moving away from Christmas, there are a couple of other recommended movies available this week, including the Australian hit Paper Planes, the 1973 classic The Wicker Man and Love Is Strange.
