Stan: What's New For 2 February - 8 February 2026

Anarchy on the island, special victims, family feud, and Christopher Nolan's "forgotten" film. These are just some of the highlights this week. Read on to find out more.

Television:

Jack Thorne, creator of the superb " Adolescence", helms the new TV adaptation of Lord of the Flies - all episodes are available right now.

Season 6 to 10 of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit has also just been added to Stan - hopefully, more seasons will follow.

If you want to get to the bottom of the recent Beckham incident, The Beckham Feud: Truth & Lies is what you need.

And finally, for those that like these kind of things (or a concert movie featuring all of today's biggest artists), 68th Annual Grammy Awards is available.

Movies:

Before Michael Bay movies became a joke, there was The Rock, an ass-kicking action movie that only Bay can make.

COVID really disrupted Christopher Nolan's Tenet in terms of its theatrical run, so much so that the director changed studios as a protest, and as a result of the lack of exposure the film got, it is sometimes unfairly maligned as one of Nolan's worst films. It isn't a bad film at all, and people really need to give is another go.

World movie fans should check out Sami Blood, and also the German/English documentary Merkel.

Kids:

Migration is a family-friendly animated film that is in no way offensive, which is probably the thing you most want from a family-friendly film.
