Netflix's Lucifer returned for a sixth and final season and was second on the TV Time Binge Report Top 10 for the week of September 6 - September 12, 2021.
TV Time calculates a binge session as when a viewer watches four or more episodes of the same show within a given day, as tracked by the TV Time (iPhone and Android) App. With most of TV Time's users being global, the binge data used in this report is reflective of a worldwide audience, and some shows listed are not available in Australia without the use of a suitable VPN.
"Lucifer" ended up with a binge share of 5.45%, which would normally be enough for a top spot finish but for the continued strong performance of "Money Heist" (10.17%). The fact that like most Netflix shows, the final and eagerly anticipated season of "Lucifer" was released with all episodes at once, probably helped with its binge performance.
The only other new entry into the top 10 was the Netflix Belgian sci-fi thriller series Into the Night. It captured 0.95% of the binges this week, coming in at 9th.
Clickbait and Outer Banks left the top 10.
