Netflix's The Umbrella Academy has returned for a second seasons and fans of the show flocked back to help it return to the top of the TV Time Binge Report Top 10 for the week July 27 - August 2, 2020.
TV Time calculates a binge session as when a viewer watches four or more episodes of the same show within a given day, as tracked by the TV Time (iPhone and Android) App. With most of TV Time's users being in the U.S., the binge data used in this report is therefore mainly reflective of the U.S. audience, and some shows listed are not available in Australia without the use of a suitable VPN.
'The Umbrella Academy' was responsible for 7.34% of all binge sessions recorded by TV Time for the week, easily beating another new entry, Good Girls. In anticipation of season 3 release of 'Good Girls' on Netflix, the show managed a binge share of 2.77%.
These were the only new entries into the top 10, with 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' and 'Dark Desire' leaving the top 10 to make room. The big movers, in the wrong direction, were 'How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast)', moving from 3rd to 9th and 'Cursed' dropping from 2nd to 10th.
