Another week has passed at Stan, and so it's time to take a look at what's been happening on the streaming platform.
For TV content, there are not one but two new series. The reboot of MacGyver has not proved particularly popular with audiences in the US, but you can stream all season one of the show right now on Stan and decide for yourself (bonus: there are 2 more seasons already aired in the US, so if you like it, there's definitely more where this came from). The other show has received much more critical acclaim, with UK stand-up comedian Romesh Ranganathan starring in the docuseries Just Another Immigrant, all about Romesh's journey to immigrate to the US with his whole extended family and his difficult task to sell out a 6,000 seat gig when nobody even knows who he is in the US. Hilarity ensues.
For movies, there's an eclectic mix. The original Piranha movie was great comedy horror effort, and the reboot 'Piranha 3D' was a fun effort. The sequel to that reboot, Piranha 3DD, is the kind of movie that gives sequels a bad name. But it might be so bad that it becomes good again, so have a go if you really have nothing else better to do.
Australian drama Tracks is a worthy recommendation, as is The Glass Castle. The Legend of Tarzan has the biggest budget of all the movies being added this week, so this deserves a mention as well.
