Let's take a look at what's been happening on Stan for the past week.
For TV, there's the usual list of weekly additions - highlights being Billions, iZombie, and Imposters, among others. There are new seasons for The Affair and Swedish Dicks, the former highly recommended and the latter is a bit of good fun.
For movies, The Circle seems like the obvious choice to recommend, an interesting sci-fi premise, big actors in Tom Hanks and Emma Watson, but this film is definitely an opportunity missed. Those who like the "dangers of technology" type of films might still enjoy it, but for others, you might want to try Killer Joe. It's not quite director William Friedkin's best work (that would be 'The Exorcist' and 'The French Connection'), but it's certainly not his worst (which personally for me would have to be the ludicrous and possibly offensive Rules of Engagement).
