It's another week of new stuff to watch on Stan, so let's take a look at what has just been added.
For TV, the most notable additions were the new season (season 2) of the US sitcom The Odd Couple. Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon star as the titular odd couple in this remake of the original TV show, which unfortunately has since been cancelled (there is one more season that Stan has not procured yet). Not being cancelled anytime soon is Ash vs Evil Dead, which sees the season 3 premier arriving last week, with new episodes airing every Monday.
Another somewhat quieter week in terms of movies, but there are still a few highlights. In the "you've probably seen it, but you probably want to see it again" column is The Social Network - this well made David Fincher film is more than just about Facebook or Mark Zuckerberg, but on the universal themes of friendship, greed and betrayal (usually in this order too, if you think about it).
Two other highlights fall into the "you've probably not seen it, but you might want to give it a try" column, with Kristen Stewart's The Cake Eaters (a film directorial debut by actress Mary Stuart Masterson, well known for her role in 'Some Kind of Wonderful') and The Sense Of An Ending starring some truly heavyweights in Jim Broadbent and Charlotte Rampling.
