March brings out a huge jackpot of content, including the long awaited Marvel series Iron Fist (trailer) on the 17th.

Danny Rand returns from the dead to his parent's company, Rand Enterprises and brings back martial arts with plenty of style. Danny is the final member of the Defenders in New York's Hells Kitchen, and this series sets up his backstory before the Defenders miniseries (which includes Jessica Jones, Daredevil, and Luke Cage) is released in mid 2017. Reprising their roles in this series, we have Carrie Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple – as they weave and tie the interconnected storylines together, while adding clues as to the separate storylines.

Initially produced by the OWN network, Greenleaf (trailer) is set in a black megachurch in Memphis, Tennessee. The Greenleaf family appear to be loving and united, but jealous undercurrents and sibling rivalry soon begin to fray, and tests their faith as a family. Outstanding actors such as Lynn Whitfield, Merle Dandridge, Keith David and a juicy, returning role for Oprah herself, critics have large applauded this season

Returning series Grace and Frankie S3 slots in later in March, as they battle to get their new business off the ground and still juggle their commitments and family issues. In Love S2, Micky and Gus decide to give their relationship a red hot go, bringing along more awkward and also more fun in that characteristically casual Judd Apatow style. For something food related, we can choose Samurai Gourmet. Takeshi Kasumi has been a dedicated worker bee all his life – and now in retirement he finds joy and his inner samurai as they travel in search of delectable delights.

Netflix will also release episodes weekly for Riverdale S1 on Fridays, The Last Kingdom S2 from Sat 18th, and finishing up Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments: Season 2 on the 7th.

There's even a few comedy shows thrown in, with Amy Schumer's: The Leather special, an exclusive to Netflix Jim Norton show, and Jo Koy. Otherwise, there's more ridiculous and pranks in American Pie 2, and another add on, Band Camp, Big Momma's House 2, What Happens in Vegas, and The Sunshine Makers.

For younger viewers, tune into Julie's Green Room (trailer), led by legendary Julie Andrew produced by Jim Henson studios, and starring a unique cast of guests in each episode, it's a fun behind-the-scenes look at some of the arts and performing skills needed to put together a show. And if you prefer dinosaurs, there's Dinotrux S4.

There's a huge selection of movies this month, two standouts are Robert Redford, Jason Segel and Rooney Mara in sci fi themed The Discovery (trailer), where a scientist finds evidence of an afterlife, sparking a worldwide phenomenon where over a million people take their own lives in order to experience this alternate plane.

Selma (trailer) charts the historical protests and black movement that drew attention to the voting rights issue in early 1965. Led by charismatic Martin Luther King, Jnr, (David Oyelowo), its cinematic style and pertinent issues attracted multiple Golden Globe and Oscar nominations.
