New movies, new series mark what's been happening on Stan this past week.
In TV land, we have not one but two new series, both well received by critics but ultimately already cancelled by their US network (CBS). Battle Creek is a detective comedy series starring Josh Duhamel and Dean Winters while Braindead attempts to offer a sci-fi/horror explanation as to why the political system in the US is so broken.
For movies, the big draw of the week is Quentin Tarantino's latest epic, The Hateful Eight. Enjoy it not only for the great story and acting, but for the amazing cinematography and the beautiful, Oscar winning (finally!) score.
There's also Jack Black's , Kristen Stewart in pre-Twilight The Cake Eaters and the critically acclaimed Keane.
Be sure to also not miss the Chinese historical action epic, Red Cliff Part I and II.
