Anne Hathaway looks to have a big 2026, with several movies lined up, including the current top of the box office The Devil Wears Prada 2 (see our review). The increased interest in Anne Hathaway movies is probably why the Stan content team/AI algo has just added The Intern.
True crime fans should check out American Animals.
Even Nicolas Cage wouldn't be bold enough to play Jesus in a movie that turns the classic story into a supernatural horror (he "only" plays Joseph), but I can see why some people would be offended by The Carpenter's Son, even though I don't think any offence was intended.
I remember seeing Her 13 years ago, and thought it was a prescient piece of work about. I think it's probably even more relevant today, now that we're living in the Alexa/Siri and AI dystopia that the movie foresaw.
Two World Movie recommendations, both from Italy, including Maria Montessori (a name those with small kids in child care/kinder/primary school might be familiar with), and Martin Eden.
Kung Fu Panda 4 is a nice new addition for the kids.
