Welcome again to our weekly feature where we look at the most popular streaming movies and TV shows in Australia based on data collected by streaming search engine JustWatch. Data includes subscription streaming as well as transactional streaming titles.

Movies:

Ah, the movie that was greenlit when Kamala Harris looked like winning the Presidency. G20 sees a Black woman President kick ass and get lauded by world leaders for her leadership - a concept which is just about as fantastical and as far from reality as you can get these days. It was the third most streamed movie of the week.

Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (also on Foxtel Now) arrives on streaming via Netflix and gets a 4th place finish - the topic of a deadly AI, unfortunately, is a bit more reality based than the previously mentioned movie.

The Accountant (also on Foxtel Now) is 6th this week because the upcoming sequel.

"Anora", "Top Secret!", and "Heat" left the top 10 this week.

Television:

Black Mirror returns and was 5th on the TV chart. I first watched the USS Callister episode, which was pretty good, and then I watched "Common People" and I've been too depressed to continue watching. You've been warned.

Moonrise debuts in 7th, while Apple TV's "Your Friends & Neighbors" was 9th.

The second season of "1923" (exclusively on Paramount+, older seasons on Prime Video) meant that it got back into the top 10, in 10th.

"The Bondsman", "Adolescence", "The Studio", and "Severance" dropped out of the top 10.
