A beautiful collection of movies, and new seasons of some great shows. These are just some of the highlights this week. Read on to find out more.
If there is one good thing to have come out of the pandemic, then Staged (new season 3 just added to Stan) is probably one of them.
There are also new seasons of Drag Race Down Under (season 4) and the delightful Ghosts (season 5, first 6 episodes).
A huge selection of must-see movies have just been added to Stan.
The long-awaited sequel is just around the corner (and critical response has been really positive so far), the original Gladiator still stands as one of the best movies ever made.
A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood is also a delightful and heartwarming film, something that's so needed in this day and age.
The Inbetweeners Movie is probably best watched after you watch the hilarious TV show that inspired it, but fans of the show will love the movie. And Plane is an old school actioner that is just about satisfying enough for a casual watch.
From the wonderful mind of Jordan Peele comes Get Out and Us - the first will always be a masterpiece, but while the second one received some criticism, it was still a fine movie for me with some deeper themes if you go digging.
And I realise there are people that will die for this movie, and I totally understand why they love it, but The Notebook just doesn't do it for me.
You'll soon see a lot of these movies getting added as we get close to Christmas, but Last Christmas, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Fatman represent some fine choices for this type of movie (well, the first two anyway).
World movie fans should check out La Chimera and The Illusionist.
Plenty of quality new additions for the kids too, with The Secret Life Of Pets, The Secret Life Of Pets 2, Trolls, Kung Fu Panda, and Kung Fu Panda 3 all being added (Kung Fu Panda 2 is already on Stan).
