Stan: What's New For 24 June - 30 June 2024

A concert special, a great selection of world movies, an Aussie icon, and getting the kids to love the '80s. These are just some of the highlights this week. Read on to find out more.

Television:

If concert specials are your thing, and especially if country music is also your thing, then the 2024 CMA Fest is a must-see.

You should be a fan of Aussie icon Russell Coight. If you're not, then you need to check out his All Aussie Adventures and Celebrity Challenge.

Movies, Documentaries:

The sporting theme continues on Stan with two more documentaries, Bruno v Tyson and McEnroe.

There's a nice selection of quality world movies this week too, with Jeremy, Dancing Arabs, Summer 1993, and I Can Quit Whenever I Want all worth your time.

As for the best of the rest, I have to admit I have no idea that this movie, Instant Family, exists and is actually somewhat decent. And I read the synopsis for Before I Fall, and it had me at "time loop".

Kids:

And for the kids this school holiday, if you can get them to watch something from the mid-80s, then Short Circuit is a pretty good choice. Number 5 is indeed still very much alive.
