Welcome again to our weekly feature where we look at the most popular streaming movies and TV shows in Australia based on data collected by streaming search engine JustWatch. Data includes subscription streaming as well as transactional streaming titles. Click here to read last week's roundup.
The Meg is back in the top 10 at a high 5th place due to the fact that the sequel is coming out very soon and people want a refresher on what happened in the original. Those looking to re-watch the movie, or to watch it for the first time, will be in luck as it's pretty much on every streaming platform (Netlflix, but also on Binge, Stan, Paramount+, Foxtel Now).
"Transformers: Rise of the Beasts" arrives on premium VOD for the first time and it came 9th.
Don't Worry Darling (also on Binge) gets back into the top 10, in 10th.
"Nothing Compares" and "John Farnham: Finding the Voice" both left the top 10, while "The Little Mermaid" also left, but it will be back in the top 10 in September at the latest when it arrives on Disney+.
