Welcome back! We're back from the New Year's break and here again with our weekly feature where we look at the most popular streaming movies and TV shows in Australia based on data collected by streaming search engine JustWatch. Data includes subscription streaming as well as transactional streaming titles. Click here to read the last issue of the roundup (18 December 2022).
Normally we would compare the ins and outs of this week with the last, but due to the extended New Year's break, we are comparing to our last published roundup (18 December 2022).
Rian Johnson's smart follow-up to "Knives Out", Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, sits high in third place, just ahead of the very smart horror film Barbarian in 5th.
Jurassic World Dominion arrived on Netflix during the New Year's break, and this helped it get back into the top 10 - it currently sits 7th.
Over on premium VOD, "Nope" and "Elvis" both got their digital releases recently and so are 8th and 9th respectively. And finally, the Edgar Allan Poe origin story The Pale Blue Eye was 10th
"Love Actually", "Elf", "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", "The Grinch", "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation", and "Zoolander" all left the top 10.

The new season of Happy Valley helped it become the most streamed TV show this week. The new episodes are on Binge as well as Foxtel Now with older seasons on BritBox and Stan.
Netflix's innovative/gimmicky "watch any episode in any order" show Kaleidoscope was 4th, just ahead of the Australian Stan original series Black Snow in 5th.
The Paramount+ platform is basically 50% Yellowstone at the moment, and another spin-off, "1923", was 6th.
And finally in 10th there's the new Amazon mystery series The Rig
"Wednesday", "His Dark Materials", "Tulsa King", "Three Pines", and "C.B. Strike" exited the top 10.
