Happy New Year! And welcome to the first week of 2023. We have New Years Eve specials, interesting documentaries, and a sci-fi movie you probably didn't at the cinemas. These are just some of the highlights this week. Read on to find out more.
Stan's heavily promoted original crime mystery miniseries Black Snow debuted on New Year's Day, and you can stream all the episodes right now.
It's probably a bit too late for Christmas, but the Ghosts: 2021 Christmas Special is well worth a watch for a funny and heartfelt show.
There is also the Doctor Who: New Year's Day 2022 Special: Eve of the Daleks.
Chaos Walking got a bad rap from fans and critics alike, but I enjoyed the sci-fi premise at the very least. Give it a shot, you might be surprised.
On the other hand, District 9 was well received by all quarters and for a good reason - just a shame that the promised sequel never materialised.
Foreign film fans should definitely check out the farcial movie-making world of Official Competition, while those who love fashion and documentaries should check out McQueen.
