Welcome again to our weekly feature where we look at the most popular streaming movies and TV shows in Australia based on data collected by streaming search engine JustWatch. Data includes subscription streaming as well as transactional streaming titles. Click here to read last week's roundup.

Movies:

The Matrix Resurrections has made its way onto Netflix, hence the surge in viewing and it coming into the top 10 at a third place (the movie has also been on Binge for a while).

New to streaming this week is the kid's animated favourite "Minions: Rise of Gru" (premium VOD). Just in time for the school holidays.

"Uncharted" and "Marry Me" left the top 10.

Television:

The top 10 had a distinct Emmy flavour, as it seems many decided to check out the winners from the latest awards. One of the big winners, if not *the* big winner from the awards ceremony was The White Lotus (also on Foxtel Now), re-entering the top 10 in second-place this week.

Abbott Elementary had very little presence in the top 10 before its Emmy win, and this week, it's 4th!

The Capture (also on Stan) in 5th place was the only non Emmy related new entry, as 8th place was reserved for another big Emmy Winner, Apple TV+'s "Ted Lasso".

This week also sees "House of the Dragon" beat "The Rings of Power", 7th versus 10th - is Amazon's show running out of steam? For a more detailed head-to-head between the two fantasy prestige television shows, check out our Rings vs. Dragons article series.

The four titles to leave the top 10 were "Modern Family", "Rick and Morty", "Welcome to Wrexham", and "The Good Fight".
