History gets the "golden age of television" treatment in The Serpent Queen, which tells the story of the rise of Catherine de Medici.
American Gigolo is a re-telling of the classic '80s film of the same name starring the versatile Jon Bernthal. Like "The Serpent Queen", new episodes will be arriving weekly.
Last Light has a great premise - what if the world's oil suddenly becomes unusable in an instant? Will you survive the chaos? You can stream the entire first season to find out.
And finally, we have a new Dutch series in the form of the complete first season of Floodland.
Unless you've been in a complete media blackout, then you should know why Stan has just added A Tribute to Her Majesty The Queen and Queen Elizabeth II: 1926 - 2022, adding to the already good amount of content on Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Stan.
My wife loves Get Smart, but as a fan of the original TV series, I was less enthused. Still, as a standalone movie, it was decent.
Slightly better than decent was the concluding movie to the Nolan Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises. It's not as good as the previous movie in the series, but it was an emotional and fitting finale to the trilogy, as long as you turn the subtitles on whenever Bane speaks.
And finally, the classic 1998 steamy movie Wild Things arrives on Stan, and it's the unrated version too.
With the school holidays around the corner, Stan has added some new goodies for the smallies, including Smallfoot and the Smurfs trilogy (diminishing return with these Smurf movies - you've been warned).
