Let's take a look at what has just been added to Stan in the past week.
The pandemic has robbed us of many things, but one thing it has added is the animated season or special. With lockdowns and just the unsafe nature of working together, animation was the natural solution, and PEN15's animated special is everything you'd expect from well, PEN15.
There is also a new German series in the form of Allmen, as well as the miniseries The Sally Lockhart Mysteries.
An eclectic collection of movies and documentaries, so I'll just start randomly with the highlights. Pop star Prince stars in the iconic romance musical Purple Rain, a heartwarming story about being different in Wonder, the perfect storm in The Perfect Storm, the horror stereotype is turned on its head in Tucker & Dale vs Evil, and the late and great Peter O'Toole stars in Venus.
Paul Thomas Anderson films aren't always everyone's cup of tea, so Magnolia might be your favourite or your least favourite film.
Documentary wise, we have the inspiring series The Undateables about the disabled dating scene, a pandemic palate cleanse in the form of Impossible Animals.
And we have four more Louis Theroux docos, all about Polygamy, euthanasia, adoption, and sexual assault.
