Another huge list of updates from Stan this week. Which is just as well, since we all need something new to watch during this never-ending lockdown.
A couple of new series have just ended up on Stan. Heels has an interesting premise - two brothers fighting over their late father's wrestling promotion, the Duffy Wrestling League set in small-town Georgia. New British crime drama Deceit also looks promising. Both series will be "airing" new episodes on a weekly basis.
The mid-season premiere of Godfather of Harlem is here (new episodes weekly) and there is also a new season of MacGyver (complete season 5).
There is also a new season of the new Doctor Who series to look forward to, as well as quite a few older series. This should occupy a few months of your time.
Some great movies just became available on Stan. If you're looking for something more recent, and definitely more topical, Suicide Squad might be what you're after, especially with the sequel in cinemas and on premium VOD right now.
Then there's Christopher Nolan's The Prestige, Tom Cruise in Risky Business, John Travolta shortly after his renaissance in Michael (obligatory John Travolta dancing scene), the original and still the best Dumb and Dumber (skip the pseudo sequel and the actual sequel), Beetlejuice, The Truman Show, Saving Private Ryan, The Notebook, and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
All the Friday The 13th movies have also just been added to Stan, even including Freddy vs Jason.
