A big week of updates on Stan, as you can see from the full list below. Any week where the entire Harry Potter film series is added is, in my opinion, a good week.
New TV series added this week include the British series The Accident, as well as the German series Arthur's Law, both of which have their complete first seasons ready for streaming right now.
The complete series (3 seasons) of Stan Lee's Lucky Man, a crime-solving detective series with a bit of Stan Lee magic.
No particular order in which this week's movie recommendations come. The simply magical Beasts Of The Southern Wild was an Oscar favourite a couple of years back, and it's easy to see why. Zack and Miri Make a Porno is exactly as advertised - the characters Zack and Miri in the movie decide to make a porno to save their business. And while there is nudity and there are sex scenes, it's actually a sweet story at the end of the day.
Mckenna Grace has been making some headlines lately for her role in "The Handmaid's Tale", but before that, she played a gifted child at the centre of a dispute between an uncle and a grandmother in Gifted.
And of course, as mentioned earlier, the entire Harry Potter film series is now on Stan. Time for a binge marathon, although you might need a Time-Turner to find the time for it.
The first of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, Batman Begins, arrives on Stan. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be plans to add the other two, which is a shame.
Two documentaries about Liverpool, first the city in Liverpool Narcos and then the team in The End Of The Storm.
And the Australian documentary Own The Sky is probably worth a watch too - shot over 10 years, it chronicles a man's attempt to build his own jet pack and fly it around the Statue of Liberty.
The school holidays are still in full swing, and so the additions of The Polar Express (a good film, the uncanny valley animation aside) and The Croods are both welcomed by parents!
