Spoiler alert, there's a great mix of TV and movies that have just arrived on Stan. Let's take a look, shall we?
Two new British series have just arrived, the crime mystery series Save Me and the World War II drama minseries Close To The Enemy.
The infamous NZ Bain family murders are examined in the miniseries Black Hands, a story that perhaps our Kiwi neighbours are familiar with but not so much.
And finally, another foreign TV series, in this case, Poland's The Defence.
For those looking for some more contemporary, the excellent Now You See Me and the little bit less excellent sequel Now You See Me 2 is for anyone who loves a bit of redirection in their films, these are the ones for you. Michael Fassbender's take on Steve Jobs is not without its problems, but it's interesting enough even for those who already knows quite a bit about the influential tech entrepreneur.
Moving on to more classic movies, nobody has ever attempted to put Dirty Dancing in a corner, while the bleak Kes is considered by many as a precursor to the uplifting "Billy Elliot". And there's classic Vincent Price horror in the form of House of Usher.
