It's the penultimate week of 2020. I've loved the word "penultimate" ever since I learned what it meant way back when, and it's also the reason why I love this time of the year - I get to use it! So anyway, here's what's been happening on Stan this past (penultimate) week.
Two new Australian series for you to binge this week, Seven Types of Ambiguity, and the mini-series Tutankhamun.
There is also Gavin and Stacey: Christmas Special 2019.
And it was a bit curious that the new Saved By The Bell arrived without us getting the original series, but here they are, including the complete series of Saved By The Bell and The College Years, as well as the specials, Hawaiian Style, and Wedding In Las Vegas.
Peter Jackson's King Kong wasn't as big a hit as his Lord of the Rings movies, but it was still quite a spectacle.
Richard Curtis's charming and often touching 2013 film About Time has a bit of everything: drama, comedy, and time travel, and so it's quite an appropriate movie to watch, curled up next to your romantic partner this Christmas.
You either love Rodney Dangerfield movies or you hate them, but if you love them, check out Easy Money where you can also check out a pre "Lethal Weapon 2", "Home Alone" Joe Pesci.
And finally one for the family, Roald & Beatrix: Tail of the Curious Mouse is inspired by the true story of iconic Children's author Roald Dahl meeting his idol Beatrix Potter.
