I'm pretty excited that one of my favourite series is now on Stan, even though once upon a time it was on another Australian streaming platform that decided one day to just remove it for no good reason while I was still in the middle of rewatching the whole series (had to get out my Blu-ray set - it was that bad!). In any case, no point in dwelling on the painful past, let's move forward and see what else is on Stan.
And yes, I was talking about Battlestar Galactica in the intro. You can now catch the mini-series (make sure you watch this before season 1, even though Stan defaults to season 1 when you open up the title), all 4 seasons plus the mini-movies in the form of Razor and The Plan. For those that haven't seen it before, I really really envy you.
There's also the complete series of the UK version of Skins, as well as two new seasons of Elementary
The Cabin in the Woods is a horror film full of surprises, and not just the jump scare kind. I can't say too much about it without spoiler it, but suffice to say that if you're like me and not a huge fan of horror, then this might just be the horror film for you.
The original Swedish Millennium trilogy The Girl Who Played with Fire, and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest have just been added as well.
And with U.S. politics front the center for the next few months (at least), Michelle Obama: Life After the White House might be worth a watch just to catch up on the previous occupants of the White House.
