I think I said this last year, and given my poor memory, I'll probably say it again next year: we're in the middle of winter and it's the perfect time for a bit of binge therapy on the couch. Not that we have much of a choice anyway, especially if you're in Melbourne like I am. Luckily, Stan has provided and we have a huge list of goodies to watch this week.
New US series P-Valley focuses on the world strip club dancers working down in the Mississippi Delta. Plenty of interesting characters and storylines to ensue.
Comedy series South Side looks like a good one (not that I've seen an episode yet - come on, there's way too much content to get through).
You probably caught this on FTA two years ago already, but in case you haven't Olivia Newton John: Hopelessly Devoted to You is a nice biographical mini-series on the Aussie treasure, even if the story focuses too much on her relationships.
The complete series of Bates Motel is also available if you're in the mood for some quality drama. On the other hand, if you want a bit of reality trash, there are new seasons of/new series in Ex On The Beach USA, Geordie OGs, and The Hills: New Beginnings.
Stan's creepy original film Relic arrives and while reviews have been mixed, it's always a worthy objective to support Aussie productions, especially in the current economic climate.
The odds are in your favour for an excellent movie marathon with The Hunger Games, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2.
Award favourites 12 Years A Slave and A Single Man have also been added, as well as the delightful The Edge of Seventeen and Sing Street.
So many bloody good choices, this week.
