Stan: What's New For June 2 - June 8, 2020

Normally at this time the year, I would be posting something about how quickly the year has gone by and we're nearly at the halfway point or something pointless like that. But this year, 2020, is different and it's been a really long year already, hasn't it? Anyway, new Stan content, here we go.

Television:

Following the conclusion of the latest season of Drag Race, the All Stars version has started up again and new episodes of RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars and RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars Untucked.

Or there's the Australian drama mini-series Better Man, based on the true story of Australian Van Tuong Nguyen who was arrested, sentenced and executed in Singapore for drug offences. A sobering watch.

Movies, Documentaries:

I'm not English so I can't judge Renée Zellweger's English accent, but it must have been good enough for two sequels to be made, and you can watch the entire fun trilogy, Bridget Jones's Diary, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, Bridget Jones's Baby, right now on Stan.

Here's another idea for movie night: The Fast collection of the first 7 movies, The Fast and the Furious, 2 Fast 2 Furious, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Fast & Furious, Fast Five, Fast & Furious 6, and Furious 7.

Acclaimed Italian writer and director Luchino Visconti's masterpiece Rocco And His Brothers is this week's classic movie pick.
