Netflix's You stayed top of the TV Time Binge Report Top 10 as the new year starts.
TV Time calculates a binge session as when a viewer watches four or more episodes of the same show within a given day, as tracked by the TV Time (iPhone and Android) App. With most of TV Time's users being in the U.S., the binge data used in this report is therefore mainly reflective of the U.S. audience, and some shows listed are not available in Australia without the use of a suitable VPN.
The second season of 'You' has generally been well received by critics, and it looks like Netflix subscribers are also enjoying the new season enough to cause a bit of a binge surge, with 11.37% of all binges belong to this show.
The Witcher stayed in second place, with its binge share dropping to 3.84%.
The long run of 'Friends', 3rd this week, is likely to end after this week, as the show has just left Netflix, and it won't find a new home on HBO Max until the new service launches in May.
Four new entries in the top 10, with Netflix's ice skating drama Spinning Out debuting in 5th, Jane the Virgin in 6th, Anne with an E in 7th and Alexa & Katie in 8th. A nice block of new entries.
