October is nearly gone, but Stan still has some great stuff to give to us before the new month arrives. Let's take a look then!
The third and final season of the Will & Grace reboot is here, and new episodes will be arriving weekly from now on. Catch this well received show before it ends.
Not as well-received when it first aired is the Australian series Bad Mothers. It's probably not as bad as the harsh critics it received on Gogglebox, but it's probably not that much better either. Still, guilty pleasures and all, watch the first season right now if you can stand it.
Some pretty interesting, if older, movies have just been added.
Ang Lee's latest movie, 'Gemini Man', may be bombing in the box office right now, but there was a time when he did small, quiet little dramas that didn't have a mega Hollywood budget. The Wedding Banquet and Pushing Hands come both highly recommended.
The next two movies are also similar in that they're fun, they're glitzy, and they're musical. Dreamgirls and Hairspray would make a good, albeit short, movie marathon I think (adding Chicago to the mix might be a good idea).
The next five movies definitely would make for a good movie marathon, with all movies in the Jack Ryan film series now available on Stan. They are, from newest to oldest, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, The Sum Of All Fears, Clear And Present Danger, Patriot Games, and The Hunt For Red October. All good movies!
