Game of Thrones has been dethroned as TV Time's most binged show for the week of May 6 to 12, 2019.

Lucifer, which now has a home on Netflix after it was cancelled after three seasons on Fox, had a binge surge as the new fourth season premiered during the week. The show had popped into the top 10 a few weeks ago, driven by the binge surge you usually get just before new episodes are coming, but with the entire fourth season now available all at once and with people still doing some catch-up of old episodes, 'Lucifer' managed to grab a 13.37% share of all binges this week. 'Game of Thrones' actually increased its binge share from 4.59% to 5.77%, but it didn't really matter, not with the Lucifer binge-watchers coming out of the woodworks.

TV Time calculates a binge session as when a viewer watches four or more episodes of the same show within a given day, as tracked by the TV Time (iPhone and Android) App. With most of TV Time's users being in the U.S., the binge data used in this report is therefore mainly reflective of the U.S. audience, and some shows listed are not available in Australia without the use of a suitable VPN.

New Netflix series Dead to Me debuts in the top 10 at 5th place. The black comedy starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini has been getting some quite favourable reviews, and it could occupy the top 10 for some time.

Also new to the top 10 is Shadowhunters, the series finale aired during the week and resulted in a surge of binges.

Making way for 'Dead to Me' and 'Shadowhunters' were the Netflix originals BONDiNG and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
