Welcome to another edition of this regular feature, where we take a look at what's been happening on Stan over the last week.
It's still a pretty quiet time for television, so the only real new addition is the 2017 Irish mini-series Acceptable Risk. If you like mystery and intrigue, then this one may be for you.
There's a bit more going on in terms of movies and documentaries, and the pick of the bunch is probably the animation Loving Vincent. Done lovingly in the style of Vincent van Gogh, the story is about a young man who delivers the artist's final letter back to his last home town, and end up investigating van Gogh's last days there.
If you're after a bit of mindless action, with a hint of history thrown in, then Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's 2014 fantasy action film Hercules might be your thing.
On the other hand, fans of The Notebook type of films will love Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum in The Vow.
Documentary wise, I Am Not Your Negro is an excellent one that looks at race relations in America, taking it on from the unique source of an unfinished novel, and narrated by the unique voice of Samuel L. Jackson.
Here's the complete list of the new additions to Stan for the week of January 8 - 14, 2019 (Content highlighted above shown in bold below):
