The very last Stan weekly roundup for 2018 is here (slightly late and posted in 2019, so Happy New Year!), and just because everyone else is on holidays, it doesn't mean that Stan gets to take a break from adding new content.
If anything, the last week of the year may be a great time to start streaming new shows, and that's probably why Stan decided to launch their new Australian Original show Bloom. You can stream the entire 6-part mini-series right now, to find out how a devastating flood allowed the growth of a new plant that reverses aging, and just how it affects the townspeople who discover the plant's unique properties.
New show Black Monday is actually coming in 2019, but Stan subscribers get an advanced preview of the first episode right now. The new comedy series goes back to the 80's to find out just what caused the infamous Black Monday stock market crash, in a series that is produced and stars heavyweights like Seth Rogen and Don Cheadle.
Looking for an end of the year/new year binge? How about all 6 seasons of Teen Wolf. Or there's the new season (13) of Supernatural.
There's a huge list of new movie additions as well, and that's mainly down to Stan adding pretty much all of the Bond movies, including the latest one Spectre. A perfect movie marathon idea is to stream all the Bond movies in chronological order, but if you only want to watch a couple, then my recommendations are Dr. No, Goldfinger, Tomorrow Never Dies, Casino Royale and Skyfall. And I'd recommend pretty much all the Roger Moore bond films because of the two C's - comedy, and camp.
Two Oscar winners have also been added (or rejoined) Stan this past week, Moonlight and Brokeback Mountain, and both are worthy additions to your watch list (or to that part of your watch list where stuff never get watched).
