Well, we're now properly into October, and there has been some great picks over the last week.
There's a new season of Will & Grace, season 2 if you're only counting the new/reboot seasons, or season whatever if you're counting the old ones. There is also a new series Insomnia (no relation to the Christopher Nolan film), shot in Moscow and around all of its unique locations, and you get to stream the entire first season right now.
In movies, the big addition last week was also at one point one of the most controversial releases at the time. All The Money in The World, sans Kevin Spacey, was just as good if not better following the controversial (but perhaps totally necessary) re-shoot.
There's a trilogy of Jay and Silent Bob movies coming to Stan over the last week, including (in order of release) Clerks, Chasing Amy, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. A good time to get into Kevin Smith's stuff if you haven't already for some strange reason.
A trio of world movies are also recommended, including the original 1977 Suspiria (remade this year and coming soon to a cinema near you), one of controversial director Lars von Trier's earlier work in Europa!, and the 2017 Oscar winner for Best Foreign Language film, Iran's The Salesman.
