It's Monday again, and you know what this means. Time again to take a look at what's been happening on Stan, Australia's own SVOD platform, in the past week.
It's still a pretty quiet week in terms of TV content, but there is the mid-season premier of the documentary series The Circus. 'The Circus' started by following the 2016 US presidential race, but now focuses on the even more interesting Trump administration.
As remakes go, Let Me In is a decent effort compared to its Swedish origins in 'Let the Right One In'. It's not a spoiler to say the film is about an unlikely friendship between a bullied young boy, and his new next door neighbour, who happens to be a young girl who is also a vampire. Horror, yes. Drama too, yes.
James McAvoy is brilliant as the anti-hero of the comedy crime drama Filth. You won't know whether to root for him, hate him, or to simply feel sorry for his character, Bruce. Worth a watch.
