It's a new month on Stan, and we're going to do what we always do here every week, and that's taking a look at what's been happening on the streaming platform. For a complete preview of everything that's going to be made available in June, please check out this article.

Starting with TV as we always do as well, two new series have arrived. Stan gets in on the True Crime craze with the documentary series Wrong Man, fast-tracked from the U.S, each episode looks at a true crime case where truth and justice may not have prevailed.

The other new show is your usual more scripted affair. Starring Katherine Heigl and Dulé Hill, Doubt is a legal drama series where a defense lawyer gets romantically involved with a client who may or may not be guilty of a brutal crime - or at least that's what the synopsis says. Don't get too attached though, the show has already been cancelled.

There are some interesting choices in movies this past week too. Captain America himself Chris Evans stars in this quiet little movie, Gifted, involving a gifted child, a single father and a custody battle. This Halle Berry sleeper hit is well worth a watch, and you might be surprised to know that The Call was co-produced by WWE Studios (yes, the wrestling people).

And a classic in the form of The Piano, this New Zealand/Australia/France co-production stars Holly Hunter and a very young Anna Paquin and took out no less than 3 Oscars, including for the two previously mentioned actresses, as well as for director/screenwriter Jane Campion.

Here's the complete list of the new additions to Stan for the week of May 29 - June 4, 2018:
