Welcome to your pick of the best streaming on Netflix this March. Choose from new seasons of established faves as well as new TV and documentary offerings to enjoy. And of course, there’s a bunch of movie additions. Happy viewing!

Netflix scored a major coup by securing acclaimed comedian Ricky Gervais’ fifth UK stand-up tour, Humanity. Gervais’ brand of humour relies heavily on snark and the wildly successful creator of hit series, “The Office” is never one to shy away from controversy. The comedian’s first special in 7 years, Humanity examines aging, celebrity and society through Gervais’ sharply – and sometimes brutally - observant comedy. Streams from March 13.

March 8 heralds the return of Marvel’s Jessica Jones for Season 2. Starring Krysten Ritter in the title role, Season 1 was dominated by British actor, David Tennant’s (Doctor Who) villain Kilgrave, but the second season appears to be delving further into Jones’ back story.

Quirky, Judd Apatow-created series Love returns this month for Season 3. Starring Gillian Jacobs as Mickey and Paul Rust as Gus, this comedy series follows its young characters as they navigate the awkward and often messy path of love and relationships in modern day Los Angeles.

New Canadian series 21 Thunder arrives March 1. Centring around the Under-21 team of fictional soccer team Montreal Thunder, the series follows the ensemble cast’s journey towards a career in pro soccer – a dream that most of them will never realise.

Also check out new British political drama series Collateral Season 1 starring Carey Mulligan (The Great Gatsby).

If Flint, Michigan sounds familiar, you may recall the controversy surrounding the American city when a crisis involving water contamination made news around the world. New Netflix Original Documentary discovers that the drinking water supply was just one of many problems facing the 7th largest city in Michigan. With crumbling infrastructure, dwindling resources and rampant violence within the community, the understaffed police department struggle to manage ongoing issues of poverty and mistrust of law enforcement. Directed by Zackary Canepari and Drea Cooper.

Speaking of controversy, the recent reboot of classic 1980s movie franchise Ghostbusters with female actors at the helm seemed to trouble fans of the original film. This month on Netflix, you can revisit the old school Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II featuring Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray.

And catch Sharon Stone in her unforgettable turn as Ginger in Casino. The role garnered her an Oscar nomination and won her a Golden Globe. The 1995 film about the struggle over a gambling empire was directed by Martin Scorsese and also stars Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and James Woods.

And for something a little lighter, check out Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Starring Kristen Bell (The Good Place), Mila Kunis (Bad Moms), Russell Brand (Get Him to the Greek) and Jason Segel (How I Met Your Mother), the romantic comedy revolves around heartbroken Peter who escapes to Hawaii to get over his ex but oh no, Sarah is in Hawaii, too, and she’s got her new boyfriend with her. Hijinks ensue! Written by Segel and co-produced by Judd Apatow (Superbad).

As usual, there are some quality content leaving Netflix in March, everything from the Jaws trilogy to the hilarious animated series 'Archer', to even blockbusters such as 'Zootopia'. The full list of what's leaving is further down below, so make sure you check it out and quickly catch some of the disappearing titles before they're really gone (and some may be gone for good).
