After a quiet few weeks, things were quite busy during the last week when it came to new content on Stan. Not sure if the Australian Day long weekend had anything to do with that.
For TV, there's a lot of binge worthy content, the notable highlight is the complete series of The Office. Very few shows are better when they're remade, and the US version of The Office is one such example. While the first season seems to be rehash of the UK series, and so isn't as good, things start to get a lot better from season 2 onwards.
New episodes of The Detour arrives this week as well, following the addition of the previous two seasons last week. There's also the season 3 premier of RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars and the third season of Black Sail.
Similarly, things are quite busy when it came to movies. Newer-ish highlights include Tarantino's The Hateful Eight - a little bit of "high impact violence" (as the rating for the film warns), has never hurt anyone; The Brothers Grimm and Big Eyes.
If twisted comedies are your thing, then The Voices and Just Before I Go might be what you need.
For a couple of classic hits, try the star studded A League Of Their Own and Almost Famous.
