Serial killers, sectarian violence, socialites and newsreaders - there's something for everyone this week on Stan.
In TV land, for binge watchers, there's the complete second season of the (now cancelled) TV show Hannibal. Check it out if for no other reason than to watch Mads Mikkelsen excel in a role that will be markedly different to his role in the new Star Wars 'Rogue One' movie (or at least that's what it seems like, from the trailer). Other than this, there's all the usual new episodes for the typical list of shows (and mostly exclusives for Stan).
For movies, you have the choice of watching Jennifer Aniston as a socialite in trouble in Life of Crime, or Robert Redford and Cate Blanchett as CBS newsman Dan Rather and his producer Mary Mapes in Truth, or maybe even Liam Neeson as a killer in Five Minutes of Heaven.
Or maybe you should check out the Indian romantic drama The Lunchbox, probably my pick of the week.
Doco fans should not miss out on The Look of Silence, consider it a companion piece to The Act of Killing - both docos look at the Indonesian genocide, one of the most overlooked atrocities in history, both inside and outside Indonesia.
