It's still really cold outside – time to huddle up under the covers and flick onto Stan to see what's in your viewing schedule.

July brings some exciting additions to Stan: you could pick from real life political intrigue and backroom negotiations in The Circus, laugh until your sides split with Matt LeBlanc's Episodes, or ride shotgun with crime drama Power, to discover Ghost's fate.

Showtime's The Circus (trailer) spotlights the 2016 American Presidential race. It's is a real time documentary which show the behind the scenes working and stories behind the attention grabbing deadlines. Produced with Bloomberg Politics, it's a non-partison, never-attempted-before take on the USA's historic election. Twelve episodes will be available on July 1, with episodes added weekly, fast tracked from US.

Series return of POWER (trailer) , season three is back on July 18th, with episodes released weekly on Mondays. The guessing game continues as it's Tommy vs Ghost, who has a target on his back. Produced by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Power follows a drug dealer nightclub owner who has decided to go legit.

New to Stan is EPISODES, starring Matt LeBlanc, Tamsin Greig and Stephen Mangan. From the people behind 'Friends; and 'Mad About You' ... You're in for a treat as this comedy series pokes fun about the absurdity of Hollywood ins and outs, and it's high probability for things to be lost in translation. Gobble up all four seasons with 34 episodes available on July 14th. Episodes has been nominated for multiple Golden Globe Awards, and Emmys, with LeBlanc winning a Golden Globe for Best Actor in 2012.

If you'd like a taste of sci fi this winter, look out for Extant (trailer). Oscar winner Halle Berry plays American astronaut Molly Woods, who returns home after a 13 month mission to discover some things have changed in her absence. Goran Visnjic (best known as Dr Luka Kovac on ER) is Dr. John Woods, an engineer in robotics who prototypes an android as their son, Ethan.

Of course, tune in weekly to find new episodes of ROADIES (Mondays), UnREAL S2 (Tuesdays), THE LAST SHIP S3 (Mondays), ANGIE TRIBECA S2 (Tuesday) and CONTAINMENT (Wednesday) every week throughout July, fast-tracked from the US. Your couch is calling you!

We also have some interesting movie releases, with Z for Zachariah (trailer) starring our own Margot Robbie. Ann Burden who may be the last female on earth, after surviving a nuclear war. Scientist Loomis (Chiwetel Ejiofor) stumbles across her home hidden in a valley, their love nest is soon disrupted by the unwelcome, surprising appearance of miner Caleb (Chris Pine). How on earth could you choose between the two? Take them both home, I say!

Time to look back into history making cinema, with three of Fellini's classic movies, La Dolce Vita (1960), 8 ½ (1963), and Nights In Calabria (1957). Recognised as one of the most influential directors of all time, Federico Fellini's career spanned over five decades, and has won numerous awards for his films, including four Oscars in the Best Foreign Language category.
