There's something for everyone this week on Stan!
The three headlining movies for the week has to be Ryan Reynolds' superhero movie Green Lantern, Wrath of the Titans, and the 2014 remake of Annie. All three disappointed critics (and moviegoers), but they're exactly the kind of movies that you probably skipped at the cinema, probably skipped when it was released on disc, and probably wouldn't bother paying for, but still might watch just to sate your curiosity. This is exactly what subscription streaming was invented for!
Foreign movie fans are well served this week with Terraferma, Kung Fu Jungle starring Ip Man's Donnie Yen, the critically acclaimed Spanish film Cell 211 and Human Capital. Also in the foreign category is the erotic drama
The Story of O - one of the adults, definitely.
There's also a bit of TV this week too, with the first two seasons of the Michael Bay Sci-Fi action series The Last Ship.
